I think that the positive equivalent of the feeling „it’s the other person’s fault“ is „my actions can make a difference“.
I find a lot of things beautiful about the world we live in, but by no means everything, some things are even quite terrible, and many things are in need of change. Art can contribute to changing the world by touching others (the art to change = to #tatch). Or to put it another way: There is an art to change. It doesn’t just happen. If everyone only ever sees Starbucks cups, they only know Starbucks cups. If there is something else, they know something else. The project the art to change creates aesthetic content on socially relevant topics, on the one hand to take a stand itself and on the other hand to give people the opportunity to express their opinion by spreading the content of this project on social media platforms and messenger services that is relevant to them.
Many people feel injustice, manipulation and inhumanity. More and more do not resign themselves, but many among them do not have a form of expression and means to do it in a positive, communal way, but do it by being violent and blaming others (minorities). This people act wrongly, but they often follow a feeling that has an underlying reality. I think that the positive equivalent of feeling „it’s the other person’s fault“ is „my actions can make a difference“. People don’t experience that they themselves can affect their lives and opportunities. In this sense, the art to change is a project that consists of many smaller individual projects that aim to strengthen the feeling of self-efficacy in people.
There are fixed series of themes and individual contributions on current topics. In the menu you will find (bit by bit) a short introduction to each series and what motivated me to develop the series.
I will start with pictures, which transport important statements in pretty pictures, so that it feels nice to take a position. Later, other formats in different styles will follow. I am always open for ideas and cooperations – just write me.
